About the Owner
Bob Duncan
Bob has been the proud owner of Dog Days of West Hartford since 2004, having purchased the business after being a loyal client for two years. This unique perspective has given him the ability to understand the business from a customer’s viewpoint. His dog, Iggy, was one of the original playgroup members when Bob traveled frequently for his job as a marketing manager.
Over the years, Bob has gained extensive knowledge about dogs by working closely with local dog trainers and participating in industry associations like Pet Sitters’ International and the International Association of Canine Professions, both of which provide comprehensive training for pet businesses.
However, it is Bob’s hands-on experience over the past 20 years that has truly made him an expert in both pet care and customer service. “I strive to be available for clients whenever they need us. Unexpected situations can arise, and I want to give clients the peace of mind that their pets are well cared for, no matter what,” he says.
Bob resides in West Hartford with his partner and their two dogs, Harry and Milo.
